Private Pay
Due to each insurance companies licensing requirements, not all providers at Blooming Minds Therapy accept all of the listed insurances.
Prior to beginning treatment, it will be important for all new clients to contact their insurance company to understand their policy, deductible and copays.
Deductible and copays are determined by the specific policy with your insurance company. Therefore, the rates of sessions may be higher to compensate for an unmet deductible. Once a deductible is met for the year, clients are only responsible for copays each session. If your deductible is too high, private pay is always an option.
In the event that your insurance policy lapses over the course of treatment, clients will be notified and automatically assigned the private pay rate unless a new active policy is provided. Private pay rate with a fully licensed therapist is $100/session and the private pay rate with a limited licensed therapist is $80/session.
Payment is expected at the time of service. All credit cards on file are typically charged within 48 hours of the appointment. Additionally, we accept payment through the client portal, HSA/FSA cards, cash and check.
Please note that once claims are billed it can take several weeks for insurance companies to indicate what the balance for an unmet deductible or copay should be. Therefore, you may notice a delay in charges.
There is a $75 late cancellation fee for any appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, with the exception of an emergency. This fee cannot be charged to insurance and must be privately paid.
