Nayla Raad, LLMSW(She/Her)
Hi – I’m Nayla! My relationship with therapy didn’t begin in a therapist’s chair—it began with hesitation, and lots of questions. Like many children of immigrants, I grew up in a culture where seeking support was often seen as a last resort, not a sign of strength. But over time, I came to understand therapy as something profoundly human: a space where we can speak our truths, connect, be met with compassion, and rediscover our capacity for growth and resilience. That evolution continues to shape the way I show up with my clients—honoring their stories, strengths and challenges with deep care and curiosity.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationships and in connection to others. When we feel truly seen and supported, we can begin to move towards change. Whether you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in old patterns, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can develop and deepen your insights, reconnect with your inner strengths, process the past and find new ways of relating to yourself and others. I work with adults of all ages navigating life transitions, identity issues, and the impact of trauma. I place a strong emphasis on and hold curiosity for the ways our cultural backgrounds and environment shape us, honoring those influences throughout the therapeutic process.
My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, and mindfulness. Using a flexible approach, my goal is to meet the unique needs of every client, recognizing that these needs may change from week to week. I show up as a whole person in the room, and believe that authenticity is the cornerstone of this work.
